Event Management

Professional Golf Events is your one-stop-shop for all your golf tournament coordinating needs and services. We take the hassle out of planning the detailed work necessary to make golf events a success. We specialize in tournament planning for single and multi-day events.

Our PGA member staff will work directly with your staff and the golf course of your desire. We will  secure the site and perform all the necessary tasks to insure that your event will be professionally handled with complete success. We can run your entire event from tee to green or you can personalize our service by requesting your unique requirements.

Tournament Planning & Coordinating Packages
starting at – $5,000
  • Plan an event within your budget. Our staff will work with you to prepare a tournament budget that will outline all related expenses and identify the necessary revenue centers.

  • Select and secure a golf course that will suite all of your needs.

  • Handle all golf course negotiations including price and services provided.

  • Communicate all tournament schedules and information with golf course staff in order to have the facility ready to accommodate your tournament.

  • Select a tournament date and start time.

  • Select a tournament format. (Scramble, Point system, handicap stroke play, etc.)

  • Develop sponsorship strategies and packages for presentation to local and regional businesses.

  • Assist in selecting a charity of choice to distribute surplus tournament funds.

  • Present the idea of holding a silent auction to raise additional funds for the golf tournament.

  • Design and produce a tournament brochure/program that will serve to promote the golf tournament, provide a list of available sponsorships, list the tournament itinerary and provide a registration form or information on how to register. (Copying or printing cost not included in package price)

  • Develop a tournament itinerary that will outline the tournament events.

  • Design and produce all printed materials that can include player registration forms, player pairings sheet, player alpha list, cart assignment cards, etc.

  • Promote your golf tournament on the PGE web site with a listing on our event calendar to help increase player participation.

  • Develop and provide a registration process. PGE can provide an on-line registration process directed through our web site that allows participants to sign up electronically and pay tournament fee via a secured credit card transaction.

  • Design participant contests like Hole-In-One, putting, closest to the pin, longest drive, etc.

  • Design and produce all tournament signage including hole sponsor signs, sponsor recognition boards, banners and any other signs needed.

  • Provide insurance for Hole-In-One and/or putting contest(s).

  • Secure vehicles and other items to be displayed on main hole-in-one prize hole. (Automobile, motorcycle, etc.)

  • Present, select and provide items for arrival gift packages that can include the tournament and/or sponsor logo(s).

  • Present, select and provide items for tournament awards, prizes or trophies to be distributed to winning teams and contest winners.

  • Make the necessary food and beverage arrangements within the budget guidelines. We can either secure food and beverage through the golf course or use an outside vendor.

  • Produce and distribute a tournament rules sheet that will outline any tournament rules, golf course regulations, contest information, etc.

  • Produce and distribute a final tournament accounting that will list all expenses and revenues.

  • Collect all registration monies for deposit into a specified bank account and provide tournament director with regular updates on enrollment status.

  • Provide a mailing list of all participants to use for future player recruitment, thank you letters, etc.
